Illegal, uncontrolled immigration. The noun in those three words is a good thing – immigration is a very good thing that has made our country the great melting pot of diverse talents, abilities, grit, determination, desire for freedom, and opportunity.

But the adjectives…“illegal, uncontrolled”…well, that’s a problem. A very big problem. We’ll discuss how much of a problem, with stories, but also actual numbers. Numbers such as convicted felons, gang members, and even those on the terrorist watch list have entered our country recently. And those are just the ones we know about!

We’ll also share some historical context on immigration from our recent trip to San Antonio, Texas, and our visit to the Alamo. Yes, the Alamo, where Texas even had immigration limits! History is a wonderful thing, and those who don’t learn from it are doomed to repeat it. On TWIRL, we’re on the “learn from it” side.

TWIRL: Two Women Inspiring Real Life

People feel increasingly isolated in what they believe, much less have the courage to stand up for their beliefs. The purpose of the podcast is to provide a voice to those who feel like they have none or feel like they are being drowned out by the mobs.
The goal is to inform and educate so that listeners have the courage and call to action to stand up and speak out wherever they are and to the best of their ability. It may start within their family, circle of friends, faith group, community, or even their country.

Saving America is hard, but you don’t have to do it alone or all at once. You don’t have to throw all the tea into the Atlantic Ocean to make a change. It starts with a cup of tea, a conversation, and an action with a good dose of perspective and snark.

Our talk show informs, educates, and provides the motivation for the next step. We share information about current events, challenges, and what you can do to live your best life, care for your friends, and family, and save America. Through it all, we promise, you’ll keep smiling.

Dr. Stephanie Coxon

Stephanie Coxon is a mother of five and a medical freedom activist. She sits on the steering committee for PCIC (InformedConsentPA.org) and for Right Minded Women. After graduating at the age of 19 with a BS in Marketing, she went on to get an MBA in International Business. After 13 years of teaching at the collegiate level, she went on for a Ph.D. in Instructional Leadership and Management. During this period, she also started learning about natural health and was certified as a Natural Health Professional. Continuing down the natural medicine road, she became a Board Certified Traditional Naturopath and partnered with an MD to create a practice that focuses on holistic health. Currently, she manages a holistic medical practice and works with people to create a wellness lifestyle and regain their health.

When Kathy’s family met her husband-to-be for the first time, they said, “Don’t worry. We’ll be nice to you because you’re our last hope.” Obviously, there wasn’t much expectation beyond the professional career obsession (although, as a college student, she did get beat up while campaigning for Ronald Reagan at a Geraldine Ferraro rally, so there was that possibility as well).

But one husband, two adopted kids, a few dogs, and a career plan that shifted on its axis (because of a few family heart surgeries, but that’s another story) later, she’s bent on saving America with a side of snark. Her day job as executive director of a food bank and side gigs serving on various boards and her Right Minded Women group round out the rest of her life. She’s found that staring at her bird feeder (she’s not sure when she was suddenly able to identify a tufted titmouse) has been helpful in maintaining a sense of calm, given the craziness. Of course, prayer, gratitude, and perspective help too.
