Menendez has been removed from the Foreign Affairs Committee but remains in the Senate.

The allegations include $468,000 in cash given to Menendez with involvement with the Egyptian and Qatari government. This trial will be a combination of ‘Law and Order’ and ‘Housewives of New Jersey’ as Menendez’s wife, Nadine, is accused of bringing the parties together after she met Menendez in 2018.

Nadine Menendez was known to befriend reality TV celebrities prior to her engagement with Menendez, including the cast of ‘New Jersey Housewives’ and ‘Mob Wives.’ Nadine and Bob Menendez first met at an IHOP and were married in 2020. This trial is going to be more than interesting as the Department of Justice seeks to put Menendez behind bars.
