You might have seen one of the more recent reports of social media abuse when Twitter released a statement saying that it will be removing posts that contain what it deems harmful or misleading on stories about vaccines. “Under the new rules, Twitter said it would remove tweets that suggest vaccines are used to cause harm to populations; false claims that have been widely debunked about the adverse impacts of receiving vaccines; and posts that suggest Covid-19 isn’t serious and therefore doesn’t warrant a vaccine,” the Wall Street Journal reports. This month, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube announced a series of policies to block or limit the spread of what they consider conspiracy theories. YouTube now bans videos that support the QAnon theory. In October, the Justice Department filed an antitrust lawsuit against Google, alleging the company of abusing its dominance over smaller rivals by operating as an illegal monopoly. “The Google of today is a monopoly gatekeeper for the internet,” the complaint says. “For many years, Google has used anticompetitive tactics to maintain and extend its monopolies in the markets for general search services, search advertising, and general search text advertising — the cornerstones of its empire.” According to a […]

2020 has certainly proved one of the most challenging, damaging, unusual, and influential years in our lifetime. As courts and state legislatures continue to hear a wide array of allegations of voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election, national attention has turned to the role of a Canada-based company, Dominion Voting Systems, whose election systems were used in 28 states in November’s election. National Tea Party co-founder, former White House speechwriter, and Viewpoint Presents co-host Michael Johns joins Malcolm to discuss these concerns, including the fact that Dominion is now responding defensively, threatening media outlets with lawsuits, and that it is a foreign-based company owned by a private equity fund with substantial investments from China. Now, a new court-ordered forensic audit of a Dominion system in Michigan, the first conducted since November’s election, is only serving to intensify concerns about Dominion’s reliability. In the audit report, issued December 13, a Dominion system in Antrim County, Michigan, was found to have had an outrageous 68.05 percent error rate, which auditors allege served as a basis for election fraud. “We conclude that the Dominion Voting System is intentionally and purposefully designed with inherent errors to create systemic fraud and influence election results. Election Fraud – Six Dimensions across Six Battleground States | The anomalies in this election are as if the establishment took out a series of insurance policies, but perhaps Navarro says it best: “This was theft by a thousand cuts across six dimensions and six battleground states.” Peter Navarro, who is director of the White House Office for Trade and Manufacturing Policy, released the report (pdf) on Dec. 17 titled “The Immaculate Deception, which “supports the claim that the election “may well have been stolen” from President Trump. In the report, Navarro examines six types of irregularities in the battleground states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
