The term “election integrity” has been used often since the 2020 vote, mainly due to the changes in the pandemic rule and the legitimate questions that cycle the outcome. Still, what is often ignored is that “election integrity” should have been a more important issue to the public and politicians several decades beforehand.

Perhaps one remembers the 2000 election, where the close swing state of Florida was hotly contested and very close, causing a recount before any decision between Al Gore and George W. Bush was made. Lawyers from both sides were mobilized, the counts were scrutinized, and when the new president was awarded the state’s electoral votes, the other side spent years decrying the outcome.

Often forgotten was one media outlet’s role in potentially skewing the election the other way as it called the state for Al Gore before the Florida panhandle’s polls closed. This could have discouraged panhandlers from voting before the allotted time. Also, who could forget Richard Daley’s “found” votes, handing Illinois over to John F. Kennedy?

Looking in from the outside, one would be right to ask him or herself, “Does my vote really count? Do the people really decide who wins an election?” Perhaps “the people” may have won a few, but it also seems the Deep State got its way most of the time. I could go into more specifics than the Republican bigwigs’ insistence to push George H.W. Bush on the U.S. in 1980, the Democrats’ use of Superdelegates to cheat Bernie Sanders out of a nomination in 2016 and, of course, the 2020 debacle, but it still goes deeper.

On this episode of Unleashed, Professor David Clements, producer of the documentary about the 2020 election, “Let My People Go,” centers around the eye-level and beneath-the-surface fraud going on with the 2020 election. We know about the rule changes, the Democrats’ ground game, the use of “mail to everyone” ballots, and the Left’s “fortifying” of the vote. What Clements found goes beyond that – and even farther than the ballots that were transported from Long Island to near Harrisburg, PA.

After talking with the Professor, the need to re-establish integrity in our elections soon is paramount, but is it possible? The means are there (or at least to create a best-case-but-not-perfect scenario), yet politicians on one side have railed against getting rid of easily manipulated electronic and mail-in voting as it stands, while the other side is afraid to make a move in many states and most definitely on the federal level (while states need to have the power to conduct elections, the federal government needs to repeal the pandemic rules implemented for 2020).

Considering the way politics in America moves and the Uniparty’s adherence to the Deep State, this may be a Quixotic endeavor. Is there hope? That, my friends, lies with the states and the people who need to continue to speak out and make election integrity an important issue.
