The Constitution Study
Weekdays 4 PM ET
The American people, through ignorance and apathy, have lost their love for their rights and liberties. Our rights are trampled daily by governments, universities, the media, and businesses both large and small. Yet the vast majority of Americans not only bow to the pressure to relinquish their rights, they frequently ask for them to be taken. What are we to do?
Since 2014 Paul Engel has been helping everyday Americans read and study the Constitution of their country and teaching the rising generation to be free. In this program, Paul uses news and current events as a springboard to help explain the Constitution and encourage others to stand up for their rights, their children’s rights, and those of the nation.
The goal of this program is to help everyday people defend their rights by reading, studying, and understanding the supreme law of the land, the Constitution of the United States of America. Author and speaker, Paul Engel has spent more than 20 years studying and teaching about both the Bible and the U.S. Constitution. That experience helps Paul explain difficult concepts in a way most people can understand. As one manager described, “Paul can take the most complex idea and explain it in a way my grandmother can understand.”

The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – In America, we take one day a year for Thanksgiving. While we all have a lot to give thanks for, I think limiting it to one day a year deprives us all of something important. For example, many people today stop before their feast and list what they’re thankful for, such as family, friends, a warm home, and a good meal. Have you taken the time to think of the…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Schools today prioritize politics and social agendas over core skills like reading and math. This shift stems from collectivist groups targeting children to reshape society. Federal regulations amplify their influence, attracting power-hungry individuals and moneyed interests. To reclaim liberty, we must strip illegal powers from politicians and confront the true source of corruption in education.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Pennsylvania’s keystone isn’t what it seems. As recount controversies and illegal ballot disputes reach the state Supreme Court, a deeper issue emerges: the rule of law overshadowed by partisan politics. Explore how this crisis unfolds in Pennsylvania, with a glimpse into election concerns in Minnesota, Michigan, Louisiana, and a pressing question on national sovereignty.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Arrogant elitists push their agendas, ignoring laws and dismissing parental rights. In Pennsylvania, officials defy court rulings to count illegal ballots, undermining democracy. Schools impose hyper-sexualized curriculums, silencing parents’ voices. This isn’t freedom—it’s control by those who think they know better. It’s time to resist and reclaim the liberty to live life on our terms.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Are we governed by laws or by those who believe they are above them? Recent events expose a troubling trend where the powerful escape accountability while others face the consequences. When leaders encourage illegal actions without repercussions, the rule of law is undermined. If laws are flawed, they must be changed, not ignored. Justice demands accountability.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Some people point to his 10-point plan to dismantle the deep state and his announcement of a Department of Government Efficiency as signs of a tidal wave of change, but will Congress calm the waters of change? What about the U.S. relations with the U.N.? Will we see a resurgence of national sovereignty or compliance with international pressure?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Trump listed a 10-point plan to dismantle the deep state. Is that constitutional? Is it something he can do on his own? Will he need the assistance of Congress? And just how will Congress, the courts, and the American people react to his plans? What about other executive agencies? Based on research I did for my book, 9 out of 10 executive agencies…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – “Woke” represents ideas that can’t thrive independently, demanding imposition on society. As the pushback grows post-election, I question if this shift toward liberty and rights is genuine or a passing trend. From challenges to the transgender agenda to debates on illegal immigration, America seems torn between preserving freedom and clinging to political correctness.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – For years, we’ve heard about election deniers and insurrectionists, yet after 2024, we see blame shifted onto everyone but Kamala Harris for her loss. Bureaucratic fear grows, with retirements, resistance to Trump’s agenda, and calls for Justice Sotomayor’s resignation. Replacing the Constitution with deep state control feels less like governance and more like a coup.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – We live in a time where sore losers—and even sore winners—seem all too common. Overprotection has led to people who can’t handle defeat or victory gracefully, from participation trophies to election disputes. The best way to respond? Show them the respect they truly deserve: none. Let’s stop enabling this culture of entitlement and denial.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – If we look at what Donald Trump has pledged to do, I hope we begin to realize that he cannot fulfill much of his agenda alone. He needs Congress to pass the tariffs and tax relief he is proposing. While Mr. Trump will have influence over Congress, remember that under his last administration, many in his own executive agencies worked against his agenda…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Lest we, the American people, exercise our duty to hire representatives in government, men, and women, who will exercise our power in our name. The only reason we can do that is because veterans have for years sacrificed to defend the Constitution of the United States. How many Americans didn’t vote or only voted for the top couple of lines on the ballot?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – “There ought to be a law!” We’ve all heard that, and there are thousands of laws on the books. But laws against murder haven’t stopped murder; neither have laws against assault, theft, and fraud. So, if laws don’t stop evil, what good are they? Laws define crimes and their punishments, but it is the enforcement of those laws that matters. That goes for statutory laws as…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Remember when presidential elections didn’t heat up until Labor Day and wrapped up on Election Night? Today, it feels like election outcomes drag on, with lingering controversies and challenges. Addressing these issues openly strengthens trust in the process. How can we improve if we’re unwilling to admit mistakes? Learning from past elections is crucial for progress.
