The blatant display of government corruption we are seeing in the investigation of “Russian Collusion” reveals an even deeper problem. Our government is in crisis, democracy is weakening and the people we have elected to represent us are part of the problem. Also, the safety and security of our schools and businesses is starting to take a more front and center place in our minds, we will look at the state of security as the new school year approaches.

Trump and World Diplomacy – It was a big week for World Diplomacy. Trump laid out demands at NATO. Opened the meeting, then a firestorm erupted. Was this his strategy and did it work? After nearly 18 months in office, President Trump finally visited the U.K. this week – and yes there were fireworks, but they weren’t in the sky. Next stop, Helsinki, where Trump will sit down with big bad Putin for a one-on-one. Not everyone is happy! Ilana Freedman, Jim McCay and IQ Al Rassooli take on the big stories of the week. Strzok Talks & Mueller Indicts – FBI agent Strzok answered questions for over almost 10 hours; most of the questions were from the Republican side as the Democrats spent their time defending his performance and attacking President Trump. It was one of the most bizarre Congressional hearings to date. Mueller issues indictments on 12 Russians claiming direct connections to the Russian government in the 2016 election hacking.
