When we thought we could see the light at the end of the tunnel of Covid darkness and depression, along comes Joe Biden. Typhoid Joe Biden, that is. Like Typhoid Mary from our past, spreading contagion wherever he goes, Typhoid Joe is now busily re-infecting an America almost on its way to recovery from the CCP Covid virus.

How? Admitting any and all illegal immigrants across the southern border with no recall for a court date and no testing for the virus. Hundreds of potential Typhoid Mary’s are fanning out across the country every day, even as we speak. No one knows where they are or where they are going. How many of them are carrying the virus? No one knows. How many Americans will be infected with the virus because of Biden’s reckless policies? No one knows. The potential runs into hundreds of thousands.

“We do not test the illegal aliens we release,” Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council, told “Tucker Carlson Tonight.” “So, we’re releasing people without knowing, which obviously puts the public at risk.”

Why? Because of political correctness. We can’t discriminate against illegals. Let ‘em in! When I could not visit my dentist without answering questions and getting my temperature checked for possible Covid fever, thousands of illegals are let in without even a temperature check, let alone a Covid test.  We can’t let Americans see their dentist without a cursory test and questions, but Joe lets in thousands of illegals daily with no questions and no testing?

A short history refresher: Mary Mallon was also an immigrant –  from Ireland to the United States in 1883. Working as a cook in the Bronx, she spread typhoid fever wherever she went. Fifty-one original typhoid cases and three deaths were directly attributed to her (countless more were indirectly attributed).

The First Rule of Epidemiology is Quarantine

The first rule of epidemiology is quarantine. When typhoid and other contagious diseases raged worldwide, incoming ships were routinely quarantined in port—no one allowed on or off for times ranging from forty days to two weeks.

The term quarantine came from Quaranta Giorni, Italian for “forty days,” the length of time ships from infected ports had to anchor in Venice during the 14th-century bubonic plague epidemic. During the 18th and 19th centuries, yellow fever scares led to ships being put under quarantine, raising a “yellow flag” during the day to warn off visitors.

Quarantine is a proven strategy to contain the disease. Here is the science from the CDC itself, no less:

From the CDC Journal “Emerging Infectious Diseases”

Volume 19, Number 2—February 2013

By Eugenia Tognott – Abstract

“In the new millennium, the centuries-old strategy of quarantine is becoming a powerful component of the public health response to emerging and reemerging infectious diseases. During the 2003 pandemic of a severe acute respiratory syndrome, the use of quarantine, border controls, contact tracing, and surveillance proved effective in containing the global threat in just over 3 months. For centuries, these practices have been the cornerstone of organized responses to infectious disease outbreaks.” (Emphasis added)

If we could contain a global threat in just over three months in 2003, why can’t we do it today? Enter political correctness to shove aside science. If the virus source is China and we quarantine flights and ships from China, we would be discriminating against Asians. Horreur! Goodbye science, hello political inclusiveness. Welcome virus carriers. Come right into our country—no more nasty discriminating quarantines for you. You are welcome here.

As a matter of fact, we are opening a new entry port for potential virus carriers. A 2000 mile-long entry port on our southern border. (Is it still a border if you don’t enforce it?) Typhoid Joe is so inclusive that he welcomes the virus along with the illegals. Come on in and infect us. We are so inclusive that we welcome infectious diseases. Can’t discriminate against Covid, bubonic plague, or Ebola.

Typhoid Joe is not fulfilling his constitutional duty to protect America and Americans from all enemies, human or viral. About time for impeachment, wouldn’t you say?
