The return of the king to the White House, well, sort of, recently took place in Washington. Barack Hussein Obama, the 44th President of the United States, returned to the place he had once called home for eight years. Unfortunately, his return, which was to mark the 12th Anniversary of the Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare), overshadowed the anniversary and Joe Biden’s p(residency).

Obama’s return was like old times when he was president and Joe his vice. His once-loyal subjects, now members of Joe’s Administration and Democrat politicians, all surrounded and welcomed him with open arms. Looking in at his return, one would have thought he had never left and things had never changed, but things had changed. Obama isn’t president. Although many probably wished he was president, for the loyal subjects had completely forgotten all about Joe, who was seen at the event wandering around confused and lost. At one point, Joe tried getting his old boss’s attention but was gently rebuffed, and it didn’t stop there.

When Joe and Kamala Harris held a ceremony to congratulate Ketanji Brown Jackson’s confirmation to the Supreme Court, Obama’s presence still loomed largely. The talk of the town and media cycle was about his return to the White House.

A love affair the liberal media has with Obama, who hadn’t been invited back to the White House after he left in 2017. It must be obvious now why Joe hadn’t invited his old boss back to the White House.
