One main story of the week was the so-called “revolt” of the Russian nationalist Prigohzin and his Wagner Group against President’s Putin government, and Biden’s lackey media claims the CIA briefed the coming “revolt” to certain members of Congress well before the action was launched. But before the media could make sense of the action, the revolt was over; Putin had dropped charges against Prigozhin and his mercenary force and had allowed both to proceed unimpeded to Belarus.
Needless to say, several experienced media liars – including former CIA Director John Brennan and former U.S. Army General Jack Keane – ran forth to cry that, because of the revolt, Putin has “never been weaker.” It seems absurd to believe anything these two sycophants say, and it seems only commonsense not to count chickens on national TV before they demonstrably hatched.
What if, for example, Putin sent Prigozhin and his force to Belarus to join the forces of that country and the army that Putin has established there for a more northern invasion of Ukraine in support of a major Russian advance further south after the destruction of Ukraine’s spring military offensive?
We also discussed a bit more about John Durham and his report. As the initial Congressional ravings about the report – the Democrats calling it absurd and the Republicans questioning why it contained no indictments – subsided on the weekend, at least one thing is irrefutable and clear. Durham proved beyond any doubt that all of the actions of the FBI, the Hillary Clinton campaign, that campaign’s lawyers, the bureaucrats of the executive branch, the major media organizations, and all of the Democratic senators and congressman – not to mention several of our NATO allies – were involved in a conspiracy to first ruin Trump’s campaign and then to illegally and treasonously remove him from the presidency.
Without saying a word about the 2020 presidential election, Durham’s definitive portrait of the clear crimes of Trump’s foes suggests that there is little doubt that those miscreants were already so guilty of at least dozens and dozens of felonies that the only way they could stay out of the slammer was to fix the 2020 election and put the walking dead into the White House.
The only question remaining is whether the Republicans will have the courage, calmness, tenacity, and taste for blood that they will need to press for the indictments that Durham’s report so clearly demands.
