In the aftermath of the attempted assassination of the 45th president of the United States, Donald Trump, there are still many more questions than answers. How did a 20-year-old wander around the grounds of the Trump rally in Butler, PA, Saturday for an hour? Why was a roof, a high point, only 150 yards from the stage left unattended?
Some of the questions that have been answered only raise more questions. At the RNC Convention Wednesday night, Senators Marsha Blackburn and John Barrasso chased the Secret Service Director, Kim Cheatle, through the venue, up the stairs, and into a private suite. Video of the confrontation shows Barrasso questioning Cheatle and demanding that their questions be heard.
Following that confrontation, Barrasso and Blackburn released a video together, and an interesting bit of information was revealed. Blackburn said that Crooks was being watched from 5:51 pm until the shooting took place, which was at 6:11 pm EST. So, for twenty minutes, Crooks was just watched, and in that time, Donald Trump got on stage and started his speech.
The shooting took place only minutes into Trump’s address; why was Trump ever allowed to be on stage if they were watching the shooter before he took the stage? Why was Trump not taken off the stage if they knew of the threat? There are only two possible answers to these questions, and neither are good.
This was either the most inept security for a former president, or it was on purpose.
That is why transparency from investigators and the government is needed now more than ever. The more authorities conceal the information they have the more the stories will grow. How can they not?
On this episode of ‘Truth Be Told with Booker Scott,’ we will revisit night 3 of the RNC. You’ll hear JD Vance accept the Republican party’s nomination for vice president. Even though Joe Biden has never mentioned the names of the 13 American soldiers killed during the American withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021, the RNC honored them Wednesday night.
