In this rowdy question and answer session, the Nurses Out Loud team discusses some obscure topics that recently came up in the RFK Jr. hearings, including the sketchy (and surprising!) origins of Lymes disease. It appears we have had “coincidences” of disease outbreaks starting right next to bioweapons research labs long, long before COVID-19.
In response to some questions from the audience, they weigh in on the difference between addiction and dependence and the ways that stigma around those terms can be used in manipulative ways.
The nurses also address preventative care, which is increasingly confusing as trust in the medical establishment reaches all-time lows.
Last, they discuss a wild social media conversation with a person who brought some serious anxiety and hostility to the topic of COVID-19 vaccines, and censorship once again raised its ugly head.
