Nuclear power – just the name itself conjures up fears from worry-wart end-of-the-world doomsters. American biologist Paul Ehrlich even said:
“Giving society cheap, abundant energy at this point would be the moral equivalent of giving an idiot child a machine gun. With cheap, abundant energy, the attempt clearly would be made to pave, develop, industrialize, and exploit every last bit of the planet — a trend that would inevitably lead to a collapse of the life-support systems upon which civilization depends.”
But this is completely wrong. Cheap, abundant energy for everyone would lead to people having the time and resources to actually care for the environment better! And nothing will help us get to that state faster than nuclear power.
Tune in this week to hear the real story about nuclear power from energy expert Todd Royal.
Todd has advised the United States Department of Energy, the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. Congress, and the States of Kentucky, California, and Texas. He is the co-author of three outstanding books on energy, which are listed below.
As Todd puts it,
“If aliens were visiting the Earth and saw how little we are taking advantage of our amazing nuclear power technology, they would slap us on the head and ask where our brains were!”
During this interview, Tom promised to share the below photograph of two young mechanics who were trapped on top of a burning wind turbine at the Piet de Wit Wind Farm in the Netherlands.

Sadly, neither of them survived.
