According to our exclusive sources, CCP-PLA is promoting new propaganda to cover up the intentional release of SARS-CoV-2 in 2019 and lay the groundwork for the future release of zoonotic weaponized pathogens. PLA’s Information Military and the Academy of Military Medical Sciences (AMMS) are both involved in this operation.
The propaganda aimed to build the narrative that it’s common to sell and eat experimental animals from labs in China and further mislead the public that zoonotic pathogens in BSL-3/4 labs can be leaked via illegal experimental animal trading. Therefore, the dominant roles of Xi Jinping and the Chinese military in covert bioweapon projects can be whitewashed, while only a few “sloppy researchers” would be blamed for the origin of the pandemic.
More importantly, the same tactics could be repeatedly applied to launch bio-attacks without accountability!
For example, at the end of June, actress Huo Siyan posted a detailed record of how she found a homeless experimental beagle and adopted it. (https://www.thepaper.cn/newsDetail_forward_27882239)
“One night, Huo’s husband Du Jiang was driving on a road without street lights. Du’s sharp eyes noticed something moving in the grass on the roadside. When he got closer, he saw that it was a puppy lying there quietly… Upon closer inspection, there are numbers on its ears… The doctor performed an ultrasound on the beagle and unexpectedly discovered that it had no spleen… It was basically certain that this was an experimental dog… Statistics show that 98% of experimental dogs are beagles, and the experiments carried out involve the fields of medical technology, drugs and biotechnology.”
Coincidentally, within a few days, another report widely spreads in Chinese media (https://view.inews.qq.com/k/20240629A05RLS00?no-redirect=1&web_channel=wap&openApp=false):
“A dealer in Jiangsu Province was found illegally selling 7 tons of frozen Beagal dogs, while those are experimental dogs killed within one week. All the dogs had most of visceral removed before killing, only hearts and kidneys left.”
Notably, if it is true, 7 tons of freshly killed beagle means that around 700-1000 beagles (average weight: 7-10kg per adult beagle) were abandoned by the labs at the same time. However, without a large-scale organized activity, it’s impossible to collect so many experimental beagles in China in a short period. I’ve discussed this with my friend @breakfast_dogs on X (Q for him, A for me).
Q: Very interesting. But wouldn’t it place suspicion on AMMS, having such stories repeated? Are you sure they are promoting it – or maybe they didn’t catch it in time?
A: My sources told me that. Such wide-spread propaganda in China is promoted by information military with CCP’s Propaganda Department. It’s not a single report. There are massive sharing, similar reports and follow-up stories. For example, Google search shows multi stories related to spleen-removed beagles in China recently.
Q: Why would they specifically use dogs (from a research perspective)?
A: Experimental beagle is the focus of this propaganda. To prepare for next release from the labs (shifting the blame to lab safety), and cover up the COVID-19 virus release in 2019. Eating dogs is common in China. There are commercial cchains of stealing pets and homeless dogs for dog meat markets. So it has to be beagles to emphasize the illegal lab-origin in the propaganda.
Q: But from a scientific perspective any reason, e.g. any diseases that might spill over from dog, or a dog would make a good model for testing? you mentioned diseases of the liver?
A: Not sure about details yet. Our source said AMMS studies pathologic changes of spleen on beagles with viruses causing liver damage (e.g. liver thrombosis caused by SARS-CoV-2). Because spleen is the immune organ. There are always various possibilities, choices & flexible plans for CCP.
The warning is not about what exact pathogens CCP’s working on. It is to prevent the public from forming the misperception following the propaganda. It’s important to understand how CCP’s information military works in advance of potential attacks. Once people realize the significance/implications of the propaganda, many operations would fail.
Actually it’s very hard to imagine 700-1000 beagles with only hearts and kidneys left. Usually it takes 5-10 beagles per group in the experiments, because using beagles costs much more than using mice.
So two possibilities:
- If it’s a fake report about 7 tons of beagles, what are the motives? Without national forces, who can make up the story and promote it in Chinese media?
- If it’s true, then it means there is a huge need for beagles for visceral pathologic experiments. Such large scale of big animal research only can be performed in CCP-controlled labs in China. Why were those beagles all under similar experiments in the same period?

There is also the possibility (I think likelihood) of bioweapons aimed at animals. They are mostly used to inflict economic damage to herds, e.g., pigs, chickens, and cattle—perhaps the current H5N1? I can’t think why dogs, though, unless they can be generalized to other species.
A: My source said it’s the propaganda for potential zoonotic bioweapons. PLA is working on novel bioweapons not only aimed at animals, which makes sense. When they study animal pathogens, the final goal is to develop cross-species bioweapons targeting human. BTW, the bioweapons targeting food supply chain also affect human.
For example, H5N1 targets both food supply chain and human, though it can’t cause outbreaks among human yet.
CCP’s propaganda is lack of rigour. Here, beagle is a symbol of illegal lab-animal trading. Moreover, like SARS-CoV-2, if there is a novel bioweapon carried by dogs, it doesn’t mean it must be lethal to dogs.
