Almost 80% of the country is adamantly opposed to men playing in women’s sports, but the government of Maine continues to defy what its citizens want. Even Gavin Newsom is coming around! Perhaps he should have a sit down with the Maine Governor.
The Epoch Times is reporting that “Official notice of the MDOE’s failure to comply with Title IX was sent to state officials in a Feb. 25 letter from Anthony Archeval, acting director of the Health and Human Services (HHS) Office for Civil Rights. Archeval estimated that about $700,000 received by the MDOE in 2024 from federal sources could be in jeopardy because of its noncompliance.”
Columbia is also feeling the pressure from the Trump Administration.
The federal Joint Task Force to Combat antisemitism has canceled $400 million in federal grants and contracts with Columbia, citing “persistent harassment of Jewish students” on campus. There are additional grant cancellations expected.
Columbia leadership is scrambling to deal with the financial setback. “Columbia is taking the government’s action very seriously,” Interim President Katrina Armstrong wrote. “I want to assure the entire Columbia community that we are committed to working with the federal government to address their legitimate concerns. To that end, Columbia can and will continue to take serious action toward combatting antisemitism on our campus. This is our number one priority.”
The students in charge of the Columbia encampments are also in panic mode!
Trump posted to Truth Social that ICE had detained Mahmoud Khalil, “a Radical Foreign Pro-Hamas Student, on the campus of Columbia University.” He stated that this was the first arrest of many. “We will find, apprehend, and deport these terrorist sympathizers from our country – never to return again.”
This is what winning looks like!
