It seems many Americans live by their pocketbooks. By that, I mean whoever puts a coin in their pocket gets their vote. James Carville famously stated that the focus of the 1992 Presidential election was “the economy stupid.” Recently, Elon Musk pointed out what he thought were “Very wise words” from Ronald Reagan during an interview on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.
First, I want to go over these wise words and see what we can do to improve not only the economy but our lives in general.
I will also look at a few court cases that may not directly impact our economy but our lives, our rights, and, by extension, our economy. If it really is “the economy stupid,” we should make sure we’re well informed not only on what the economy is doing but what governments are doing to ruin it.
