It is being called Operation Guardians of the Walls. If you look historically at these wars, there is a pattern. The aggressor will use a spark that will escalate the battle into a full-fledged war. It will heat up for several days, a week or two goes by, and then talks will begin for a ceasefire, and de-escalation is the immediate goal with no commitment to resolve this long-tiring conflict. Might the current conflict in the Israeli-Arab clash be a turning point that requires a somewhat different approach? After decades of trying to somehow solve this problem through mediation and so-called ‘peace’ talks, Israel is now taking a powerful military stand and making it clear that this ongoing aggression must end.
